this was raymond's first "official" contest though he's been to every
field day since his birth, often "listens in" on dx contests (though the
code speed still gets 'em) and has most recently participated in an
amateur radio demonstration at the rochester museum and science centre
during christmas break. all this and he's only 5!

for those cq magazine subscribers, catch a peak of us in the may 1998
issue, page 11.
this is the exact spot he operated from during kids day.

during kids day, we operated from our cottage in eagle bay, ny, 60 miles
north of utica in the adirondack mountains (1600 ft), ts50 and a 40m
dipole. we made q's on 5 bands.
