Greetings,

I invited three kids (of various ages) over to the house to play Kid's
Day.
Conditions were pretty good; at one point, we had 3 or 4 stations calling
at once. There was much apprehension, but also much fun and many,
many questions.

Thanks to KD7KND for trying to put two very nervous young people
at ease; I'm sure they're much more relaxed on the telephone.

The three "father and kids" operators of WB2DVU and their information:

        - Julia - age 12 - Oswego, NY - yellow

       - Robert - age 15 - Oswego, NY - green

        - Juan - age 46 (looks younger) - Oswego, NY - purple

All contacts took place on January 5, 2002, and on 28 MHz SSB.
Times are in UTC and are very approximate, as may be the spelling of
names (please forgive me) and locations.

That's it. We win. Well, maybe not....

We only had about 1-1/2 hours to play, but 6 states and one province
isn't too shabby, especially when there are multiple operators at both ends.

Thank you, once again, for a very unique and enjoyable operating event.
But I shoulda made my ham shack bigger.....

                                                                    73,
