Band conditions in Nova Scotia were far from good, although I did get a chance to talk with:
AA8IK Daniel 14.279

Then later on when Carmen and Andrew joined me They spoke with:

Then conditions unfortunately went from bad to worse.
 
The two kids I had here really enjoyed their very first time talking on the radio despite crowded conditions. They both walked away with the biggest smiles on their faces. Carmen rides on my school bus in the afternoon, so I presented her certificate to her in front of all the other kids, it was great.
 
Yes I heard that group of yahoos out on the west coast and I was not impressed at all. After my guests came here, I simply stayed away from where the idiots were. Guess there's that type in every walk of life and we just have to put up with them and NOT EGG THEM ON huh.
 
ARRL and BARC, thank you for putting this even on, the kids on this end definitely liked it.
