Joe,

The reason for our preference is for ease in entering data. Our data
entry screens require clicking on a box in order to change the band and
mode selection. If we don't have to change those field entries with each
card entry, the process goes much easier. It really doesn't matter much
which band is first, or which mode is first although 10M - 160M is
probably preferred. For mode, the preferred order would be CW, Phone,
RTTY and Satellite. Again, first band, then mode.

Subject: ARRL's preference for listing of DXCC QSL's

Bill,

I am making a report for a logging program and need to find out
what is the ARRL's exact preference when it comes to the
order in which the QSO's are listed.. I see at your website
where it says to put them in BAND order - then MODE order ..

But, what order is the BAND made in: (i.e. 10 thru 160 or
160 thru 10)??

And, what order must MODE be put in: (i.e. SSB, then CW, then
DIGITAL)?

Or, is there an "exact" order that must be followed?

TKS in advance for your help Bill!!
