I am writing this in a hurry and will have more in a couple of days.  A
group contacted me today about activating DXers here to contact a Calif.
Congressman.

The MLDXCC ran a 'bit' in their last newsletter about efforts to activative
both KP1 and KP5.  A petition has been made and denied and there will be an
appeal hearing withing the next 30 days.

The Congressional committee overseeing Dept of Interior, Fish & Wildlife is
Chaired by Congressman Polombo out of around the Lodi area.  They would like
as many hams in the Polombo District as possible to write letters and call
voicing your support.
