Eric/Richard and others.  Thanks for comments and information.  I am still waiting for into from petition sponsors plus doing my own investigation.  First of all the Committee Chairman is the Honorable Richard W. Pombo from Tracy.  He has two District offices:  Stockton and San Ramon.

The matter at hand is a request for a PERMIT TO LAND on these two islands.  That request has been denied and now they are going thru the APPEAL process.

Appeal process falls under 50CFR2545.  CFR stands for Code of Federal Regulations.  This procedure can be found at http://members.megapipe.net/wb4znh/50cfr2545  This will be a word document.
