After Saturday's session ended, I was wondering what the world was coming to - I mean, working three VY1s and no VE3?? The windy conditions on Saturday made operating very difficult - the noise levels on most bands was S8 or better during the afternoon. When the wind started to die down after dark, running became possible again. The differences between the results of the two days couldn't be any more different. Saturday was mostly S&P, Sunday was almost entirely running. Ended up working every mult at least twice on Sunday.
Used the auto-fill and master.data files from the club website - they both worked FB with Writelog. Thanks for all of the spots - the number and consistency kept me on the go throughout the weekend. Also - thanks for all of the club QSOs.
My thanks to Jack Morgan and Rick and Karen Samoian for hosting me at their stations for the weekend. Their hard work putting everything together in advance allowed the operating to go very smoothly. I had great fun!
See ya!
