This is from the Redwood Empire DX Association. Are we going to let them 
get away with even thinking they could outscore the truly # 1 club in 
CQP?? At least one of the REDXA members has a brand-new 7800 and is 
anxious to turn it loose. We cannot rest on our laurels...get on the 
air, make the Qs and send in the log!! CU tmw and/or Sunday!! Let's see 
if we can break 3 million this year.


Attention REDXA members! The time is rapidly approaching for CQP! This
weekend Oct. 2 and 3 is the big event. Again please check www.cqp.org
for info if you still need to know more about the contest. Our goal is
to win the club competition this year and every QSO counts! As an
added insentive the Election Committee will be OVERLOOKING those who
entered their scores for REDXA. What this means is if you don't
participate, even minimally, count on being nominated for an elected
position for next year! Good luck to everyone and give me a call
if you hear me. I will be portable in YUBA CO. with Frank KD6KVL as a
multi op/single transmitter/low power county expedition. The Mother
Lode Contest group has won the last few years and it is time for them
to go down! Are we a bunch of wimps or are we REDXA? Let's do our club
