REDXA and MLDXCC;
I'm asking you and your members to have some fun in CQP 2005 and get "on the
air" because historically the small northern CA counties have been some
of the
"rarest".
To generate "maximum fun" for everyone CQP needs the rare CA counties to
be "on
the air" in 2005.
For more information contact Robert Wilson N6TV (CQP county activation
coordinator).
If you are interested - Kevin N6RCE has a huge 3.25 MB PowerPoint
presentation
all about CQP facts, records and mobiles that he can send to you
(perhaps for
your next club meeting or perhaps for your club newsletter).

California QSO Party (CQP), 40th anniversary celebration (Oct 1-2, 2005)
CQP is working hard to put all 58 California Counties "on the air" so the
out-of-staters can get a SWEEP for 2005 !
California stations are signing up now using the online form at
http://cqp.kx7m.net/cqp2005.html
Mobile stations are encouraged to post their preliminary itinerary,
especially
for "rare" counties.
The current status is updated almost daily at
http://www.cqp.org/Counties-Plan-2005.html
Complete details at http://www.cqp.org
To see what counties were rare in 2004 go read the 2004 CQP results at:
http://www.cqp.org/results/2004/04cqpcomplete.pdf
Some rare counties are typically Trinity, Yuba, Colusa, Lake, and Glenn.
