Gentlemen:
I received the following from Bernie of the Daily DX today and pass it
along for your constituents:
A special bulletin from The Daily DX this afternoon says N3KS and K3LP
are enroute to Desecheo KP5 and are expected to arrive on the island
shortly and be on the air this evening. It will be a short operation, a
minimum of 48 hours, possibly through the weekend. It is a working
trip and NOT a full blown DXpedition operation. They will be on the
air as much as possible. It is reported that they DO have landing
permission from the Fish and Wildlife Service. They will be signing
N3KS/KP5 and K3LP/KP5.
They expect to operate 160-10 concentrating on 80, 40, 20, 15 CW and
SSB. They have three radios and two small amps.
No word on antennas.
QSL route is via W3ADC.
Seasons Greetings to all.
73, Jim O'Connell, W9WU Chairman DXAC
