[Mldxcc] KT34XA/KT36XA Antenna

Hi:

I forgot to ask about the above antennas at today's get-together.  Ted Davis W6BJH (big juicy hamburger), in the Redding area, converted his KT34XA to a KT36XA and is having trouble getting it to work properly.  He has been in touch with K6MYC of M2 and has tried the "easier things", but no luck.  He is looking for suggestions and help, if anyone has this type of antenna.
