Reward Club Competition based on "activity, effort and achievement sounds like a touchy feely substitute for the rewarding the club that kicks butt. I like the Darryl Jarret quote  "the guy coming in second, is the first looser."
   
  As for QSO penalties for blown calls in any log, I think you lose the call.  Are we trying to encourage new contesters or punish the new kid who hasn't developed the skills to be competitive?  Am I the only bozo, who doesn't keep his contest data bases up to date, doesn't run 1500+ watts and two radios with computer control?  
   
  Sorry, I'm alittle sensitive right now after my multiple  disasters in Sprint last weekend.
