Worked this AM at first light on 3.5 100 watts to low delta loop. 
   
  If I was the distributor for Spider antennas, I'd get my co off the 9M4 web site. I've heard very little of this Dxpedition on hf bands. ESp on 20...some copy on 17, but qsy'd as band opened here. 
   
  Two good CW op's have made it worth trying on the low bands . I started listening at 4AM today...no spots on the usual web places...however a check of the Asian dx site revealed 9M4sdx was on 80 meters. As their signal got stronger near CA sunrise about 0530 the op started calling NA and then worked a JA. Called USA and worked a UA0!
   
  I broke for breakfast and coffee...returned about 0630 and heard them working NA. I slipped a call in between some West Coast big guns and got a 5nn. Their Tokyo HP amp sounded good here. I was starting to fear another Lack-of-sleep Island Dxpedition strike out 
   
  Hoping for 40 meters tomorrow. Conclusion DX-summit is great if you can filter spots from EU...especially Italy. Telnet VE7CC a Little better, but still some EU bickering. Try the Asian DX sites for a different view.
