Soapbox : Funny - I had no plans to operate in this contest at all. My 40 meter rotable dipole is non-operational and I've been setting off the house alarm on 80. However, when I came home from work Friday night, turned on the rig, and heard decent 20-meter band conditions, I was off and running. 20 meters stayed open to Asia until almost midnight Friday. Y'see, I haven't been able to contest at all from this QTH due to nagging and persistent TVI with my next-door neighbor. I have no problems with anyone else on my street, even my own TV is clean. However, when they installed a satellite TV system last week, I thought all was finally better. It was, too, until about 3 PM Saturday afternoon, when my neighbor was at my door. Seems like my TVI is actually worse than it was before. Strange! So - I just dabbled around in the contest after that and tried to work as much DX as possible. Had fun, too! Now - it's back to working on that TVI problem again. Sigh!
Hope to see y'all sometime again in a future contest, if things work out.
