After working this contest in a very serious way year after year, from New England, it is hard for me to get up for it from here.  If MLDXCC wants to seriously compete, I will pledge to do a more serious effort next year.  

Clearly, doing CQWW from the West Coast requires a different strategy than we used from the East Coast at the M/S station I always operated from.  I listened a lot to Rusty during the contest, just to pick up on his strategy, rather than operate myself.  I take it Rusty was operating from K6IDX, at least that was the way my beam wanted to peak him up.
