Based on your preliminary feedback from my last email regarding a  
possible group purchase from ACOM, I've been in touch again with  
ACOM's US sales manager -- Will Angenent, K6ND.  He has quoted me the  
following prices - you can find specs, photos, and manuals here:  http://www.hfpower.com/

ACOM 1010:  List price = $2,340.  For a minimum Order of 10 units =  
$2,090 per unit
700 watts PEP, 500 watts continuous

(Note:  Preliminary interest was received from:  AE6Y, K6MM, K6RM,  
N6ML, and ND2T)

ACOM 2000A:  List price - $6,850.  For a minimum order of 5 units =  
$6,650 per unit
This is their Automatic HF linear for max legal power with digital  
readout, remote control unit and PC control.

Caveat:  These prices include shipping -- but to only one address.   
They would then be distributed from there.  He's quoting 6-8 weeks  
delivery time.

I've also been in touch with NCCC member George, K6SV, from HRO who is  
the exclusive distributor for the Tokyo Hy-Power line of solid state  
amplifiers in the US.  George is willing to work out best pricing on  
the Tokyo line of amps, based on a group purchase.  To save CA sales  
tax, he is recommending shipping to an NCCC member in Nevada, and  
distributing from there.
