[Mldxcc] Concow Fire Update, 1500 hours

A temperature inversion is trapping smoke close to the ground, obscuring 
the ridge behind
which the fires burn. The wind has become less of a problem. A P-3 and 3 
big helos are
dropping their retardant and water. One evacuated resident said that the 
DC-10 tanker was
'on' the fire, but the same guy described the P-3 as a C-5...

We're not in immediate danger. We'll stay home for now, and if we do 
stay tonight we'll
sleep in shifts with our clothes on.

Oh yes, the K-3 is in my truck. there isn't room for the MP.
