[Mldxcc] MLDXCC/NCCC Joint meeting--location change.

Good afternoon John.  We have had to abandon our plan to hold the joint
meeting in Lodi.  Unfortunately Lodi Brewing Company has not worked out.  We
are relocating back to the Senior Center in Jackson on the same date and
time.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

The annual MLDXCC/NCCC BBQ/Potluck and joint club meeting will be Saturday,
26 July 2008 at the Amador Senior Center (229 New York Ranch Rd., Jackson,
CA 95642).  Gather at 11:30 AM, lunch about noon and meeting at 1:00 PM.  As

Arnie Shatz, N6HC, will present the TX5C DXpedition.  From the DXpedition

On this trip he served as both operator and medical officer.  Arnie has been
an ARRL member for more than forty years.  He serves as a Field QSL card
checker for both ARRL and CQ awards.  He is an active member of the Southern
California DX and contest clubs.  He is a member of the A-1 operators club
and has earned many ARRL operating awards including WAS (5 bands, SSB, CW,
RTTY), DXCC Honor Roll,  DXCC (8 bands, SSB, CW, RTTY), WAZ (CW & SSB), WAC
and VUCC.  He is an active contester and has won numerous certificates for
participation in both domestic and DX competitions.  He has operated from
many places around the continental United States as well as in Hawaii,
Alaska, Mexico and Prince Edward Island.


Please bring the following to share based on the first letter of the
suffix of your callsign:
A-G- Salad (potato, macaroni, fruit, green, etc.)
H-N- Relishes (assorted pickles, olives, carrot sticks/veggies w/dip,
etc.)
O-U-  Desserts (simple desserts, cookies, fresh fruit, etc.)
V-Z- Chips/dips/salsas

TriTip, Chicken/Turkey breast, and sodas/water will be provided by MLDXCC
and NCCC.
