OK, thanks Shirley. I think we are set, yes? Anything else we need to
consider before announcing to NCCC?

Rich,

Today I met with the manager of The Old Spaghetti Factory in Stockton
and signed a commitment for the use of their large banquet room on 26 July
between 12:00 (noon) and 3:30 pm. I provided an estimate of 50 attendees
and was informed that there would be no “room fee” if we hit at least 90% of
the estimate.

The menu selection for the meal will be limited to:
  1. Chicken Caesar Salad for $10.75
  2. Meatloaf Italian Style for $10.95
  3. Chicken Marsala for $11.50
Beverages Coffee, Tea, and Water and a small dessert are included with the
meal. Soda, Beer, Wine, etc may be individually ordered from the bar.
Vegetarians may order item 1 less the chicken. Prices do not include tax
and gratuity.

For making presentations we will need to bring all of our equipment
(including an extension cord and power strip). They have a roll around cart
that could serve as a podium but that’s about it.

I could live with any of that.

Thanks.

Hi, Shirley and Dick,

Am squat in the middle of putting up apricot and peach preserves, but just
took a look at the OSF menu and came up with the following suggestions for
your meeting today:

from the Entree Salads menu -- Chicken Caesar Salad
from the Signature Selections menu -- Meatloaf Italian Style and the Lasagna
Vegetariano
from the Pasta Classics menu -- Italian Sausage with Meat Sauce and the
Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter pasta
from the Factory Favorites menu -- Chicken Marsala, Famous Baked Lasagna and
the Spinach & Cheese Ravioli

Any combination of these sounds good -- there's a salad for the
greens-conscious; meatloaf, sausage & meat sauce, lasagna or chicken marsala
for the meaties; mizithra cheese pasta, vegetarian lasagna or spinach
ravioli for the veggies. The staff should be able to help you pare down the
list.

Do ask them if all of these qualify for their "famous complete meal" with
bread, choice of salad/soup, beverage and spumoni ... this is a really good
deal -- think people will really feel like they're getting "good value for
money". I assume the soup would be the default choice with the Chicken
Caesar Salad if it qualifies...

Thanks, Shirley, for all your hard work on this -- the Lodi Beer Company has
my vote for the Valley's Least Cooperative/Most Customer Unfriendly
establishment -- we won't be back there ...

Kay

> Good idea. I've made an appoint to meet with the mamager on Saturday
afternoon. This sounds good but it we will need to provide 100% of our
audio/visual requirements. The manager also stated that he does not have a
banquet menu but we should limit the group to three or four menu items.
