John, thanks for the suggestion, it worked out for us. Here is the new
announcement:
The MLDXCC/NCCC joint meeting will be held at The Old Spaghetti Factory in
Stockton, in their large banquet room on Saturday 26 July between 12:00
(noon) and 3:30 pm. We hope this location will reduce travel costs, avoid
the need for pre-meeting meal prep, and give everyone more time to enjoy the
meeting. Our presentation: Arnie Shatz, N6HC, will present the TX5C
DXpedition from the perspective of an operator and medical officer.
The menu selection for the meal will be limited to:
1. Chicken Caesar Salad for $10.75
2. Meatloaf Italian Style for $10.95
3. Chicken Marsala for $11.50
Beverages Coffee, Tea, and Water and a small dessert are included with the
meal. Soda, Beer, Wine, etc may be individually ordered from the bar.
Vegetarians may order item 1 less the chicken. Prices do not include tax
and gratuity.

Arnie Shatz, N6HC, will present the TX5C DXpedition. From the DXpedition

On this trip he served as both operator and medical officer. Arnie has been
an ARRL member for more than FIFTY years. He serves as a Field QSL card
checker for both ARRL and CQ awards. He is an active member of the Southern
California DX and contest clubs. He is a member of the A-1 operators club
and has earned many ARRL operating awards including WAS (5 bands, SSB, CW,
RTTY), DXCC Honor Roll, DXCC (8 bands, SSB, CW, RTTY), WAZ (CW & SSB), WAC
and VUCC. He is an active contester and has won numerous certificates for
participation in both domestic and DX competitions. He has operated from
many places around the continental United States as well as in Hawaii,
Alaska, Mexico and Prince Edward Island and was a team member of the K7C,
3B7C and TX5C DXpeditions.
