Comments:
My first ever RTTY contest effort! I've had a lot of trouble getting MMTTY to work. Finally, on Saturday night, after playing around with various settings, I was finally able to copy stations for the first time without having AFC turned on and with a fixed mark frequency of 2125 (running FSK). Took a while to get the hang of the software and the flow of the contest, but it all came together pretty fast. Finally discovered for myself why this mode is fun. I used MMTTY as a stand-alone program for a while and later started up N1MM and got everything running there. Learned about keyboard sending on the fly. Learned a whole lot and had lots of fun on Sunday.
