[Mldxcc] REDXA/NCCC Meeting: K3 Survey

For the January 14 meeting next Wednesday in Petaluma, the main  
program will be a K3 Users Forum.  The plan is to have a forum of K3  
users to provide useful feedback to Elecraft and to share operating  
experiences.

In preparation for the meeting I've prepared a 10-question online  
survey which was first announced on December 10.  Thus far, 27 folks  
have responded to it (list is below).  The survey is still active, so

Attending the meeting will be both principals from Elecraft:   Wayne  
(N6KR) and Eric (WA6HHQ).  They are coming to listen to the  
discussion, which hopefully will be audio taped for archiving on the  
website.

We're still putting together the formal agenda, but the working title  
is "The K3:  A Real-World Perspective".  Included will be the results  
from the Survey together with a panel discussion.  Ed (W0YK) has also  
volunteered to "demystify" the filtering options for the K3 -- an  
often complex topic.

This should be a good meeting, hosted by REDXA President, Alan (K6SRZ)  
and our contesting cousins in Marin County.  Start your carpools now.
