Comments:  Definitely a non-serious effort in the midst of holiday family
events and putting up Christmas decorations inside and outside. Wanted
to spend a lot of time on 80, but that didn't happen. Rather disappointing
band conditions - especially on Sunday. Honestly - I really don't like this
contest very much. There's just too many big and loud stations whose
operating style is to send their call over and over and over and only listen
for a nano-second to see if the DX station is transmitting. Sometimes, that
doesn't matter anyway - just keep calling, making it mighty tough on everyone
else. Then when the DX station finally does come back, they don't know it.
Very frustrating! The few DX stations with huge pileups that operated split
avoided this problem, although that's a bit odd during a contest. Enjoyed
myself anyway.
Now I'm making six dozen chocolate chip cookies to take into work tomorrow.
Yummy. Hope that everyone had a nice Thanksgiving holiday. We sure did!
