Me too, I have been trying on and off  for ever, but my friend KG6TT  
called and said to get buttocks on 14.199 listening 240 + and I did and got him  
after 20 or so calls, with about 800 watts. yea.  A new one.  I could  not 
hear them on 17m or even 20 cw.. but one is in the books.. yea again

I  screwed up a couple of times, back and forth checking 17m and 
forgetting I  had to hit split after moving off a band with the K3.

Wow.  Loud  here tonight.  Sounds local.  Makes me nervous..... 
If I can get  them, anyone  can.
