[Mldxcc] Florida QSO Party - Amazing Mobile Operators

The Florida QSO party is taking place this weekend, in two 10 hours  
segments:

Part 1:  1600Z April 24 - 0159Z April 25
Part 2:  1200Z - 2159Z April 25.   20 hours total

Part one ended at 7:00 PM tonight, and I am just amazed at the  
efficiency of their operation..

Some of the best CW operators in the country have mapped out a great  
strategy and are racking up a lot of QSOs around the state of  
Florida.  It's like having 10 teams of W6OAT/K5RC out there.

In just 5 hours today, running about 500 watts, I've already worked 53  
of the 67 FL counties -- mostly by tracking their mobile operation via  
packet cluster.

Key mobile stations AD4ES, K4OJ, K5YAA, NF4A, W1NN, W4AN, W4MY, W4ZW  
-- among others -- are doing a great job this weekend.

The contest is half over but they're off to a great start.  I won't be  
on much tomorrow, but encourage anyone who has the time to get on the  
air and give out a few Qs to these guys.

Impressive.
