Friday night my 100 watts and 80 meter dipole did not do too well.  Saturday afternoon I lowered the antenna and added 63 feet to each end at 90 degrees and sloping down to about 5 feet.  It made all the difference in the world.  I worked just about everything I heard and was able to get through on DX pileups.  Worked the CN2R on first call, as well on other DX.  I now have an amplifier that works on 160 and I should get it installed next week.
