Sorry to hear of Gary's passing.  When I explored becoming a ham back in 
2002, the Radio Place was the key to the hobby.  Gary and Glenn 
helpfully answered questions and pointed me in the right direction.  I 
bought my first rig from them (a used IC-718).  Gary checked my cards 
for DXCC.  I'll miss him.
