Thanks John. I had just sent this out to the SS advisory group for some discussion.
Also-
It is no suprise they are trying to discourage folks from going to 15 meters and up, even going so far as to convince their folks to ignore the 40 over S9 stations. DO NOT BE FOOLED HERE! Start on the highest band you hear activity on and work the cr** out of everything. Their strategy different than ours, and is dependant on the lower bands, ours on the upper bands.

Subject: [NCCC] PVRC 2010 Sweepstakes Strategy
PVRC has published their 2010 SS Strategy. It's on their website here:
http://www.pvrc.org/
Click on "Events" --> "Sweepstakes 2010 PowerPoint"
Authors are WX3B and K3MM.
They're going to try for a 3-Peat. No surprise there.
Some excellent "common sense" tips. Mostly what we've talked about
already:
- butt in chair
- concentrate on 80/40/20 (hopefully we'll benefit from some 15/10
activity)
- try SO2R
- stay up late on 40/80
- if only limited time operate Sunday if possible
- discourage M/S operation
- importance of spotting. They even thank K6III for his efforts!
We can beat these guys.
Get focused -- start preparing now.
73,
John K6MM
