Well that was painful.  I usually enjoy this contest but the strange 
conditions this year made it a P I T A.

One interesting note. Since I was having trouble working anything, I 
camped on WC6H's CQ frequency for a few minute and listened. I am 
using a K9AY antenna for receiving and Rich has beverages. In the 7 
QSOs I listened to, there were 3 that I copied on the first call, and 
it took Rich 2 or 3 tries to get the complete call, two that we both 
copied the first time around and 2 that he copied on the first try 
that I had absolutely no idea were even there - never heard a peep 
from them. So I guess all this proves is that you can never have 
enough receive antennas on 160. Thanks Rich for the entertaining interlude!
