Hi Shirley:

Wearing my IDXC Co-Chair Hat.  Thought perhaps MLDXCC might like to consider supporting IDXC this year.

http://www.dxconvention.org/

Couple of ideas:

1.  Sponsor MLDXCC-hosted bagels and coffee on Friday and/or Saturday morning.  Probably $200 would do it.

You'd be listed here:  http://www.dxconvention.org/pages/donors.html

2.  Offer one or more raffle prizes for the hourly drawings on Saturday:  http://www.dxconvention.org/pages/prizes-hourly.html

Perhaps morse code training CDs, a modest paddle, subscription to CQ, QST, books, cables, subscription to the DailyDX, etc.

Can be any $$ value -- but a Free ad in the Convention Guide is included, if the prize value is at least $100 (see attached guidelines).

You'd be listed here:  http://www.dxconvention.org/pages/donors.html

3.  Offer a door prize at the Friday night Contesting dinner:  http://www.dxconvention.org/pages/dinners-contesting.html

Suggestion:  A nice paddle:  Begali, Bencher, K8RA, Vibroplex, etc. or anything else you can think of that would be appropriate.

The MLDXCC logo would be on the Contesting Dinner page + free Ad in the Convention Guide.

These are just some ideas.  If interested, the attached form has all the information you need.  Prizes go to Bob, W6OPO.  The ad goes to Rob, K6RB.

No pressure.  Thanks for your consideration, Shirley.

John, K6MM
