John,
  I apologize for not getting to my email yesterday.  I brought the proposal to the club meeting and the membership decided that they may individually volunteer to perform some duties at the convention but they did not wish to provide fiscal support. 
  I believe you already have a number of MLDXCC members scheduled and Bob/W1RH has indicated he will be available.
