[Mldxcc] For Sale - Ten-Tec Titan model 425 amplifier

In order to secure some more funds to upgrade to the top of the line 
transceiver, I have my Ten-Tec Titan model 425 amplifier on the block.

S/N 425-00727

I am the second owner, both in non-smoking shacks.

The tube(s) in this one went bad and the resultant short took out L3 
on the meter shunt board as well as the glitch resistor R1 which had 
the HV arcing to the rear frame of the tune Capacitor as well as the 
frame of the cooling fan. It has since been repaired by California 
Kilowatt builder extraordinaire W6SR.  25 to 30 ma of grid current 
gives 1500 watts output on all the proper bands for this amp. The 
tubes were replaced with a pair of medical pulls that a good friend 
of mine obtained from an estate sale in Florida. The tubes were 
Hi-Pot tested by N6JV.

I have the original manual and boxes for the RF deck and for the power supply..

Asking $1350 or, if you have your own backup pair of 3CX800A7 
triodes, I'll sell it without the tubes for $950.
