CARS Members,


For those of you who knew Jack, K6TTT, he passed away on June 27th,
2012....

 Jack was a past member of CARS, and served as a CARS VE for many
years. Jack was an avid "ham" who loved operating
 CW. He had over 340
world wide contacts and belonged to the DXCC club. At the time of his
untimely passing, Jack continued
 working toward accumulating further CW
contacts.

 Below is the Obit from the Calaveras Emterprise, dated July
3rd...I edited it to show his call sign.

 Several Calaveras County
residents, including myself, worked with Jack in Silicon Valley many years
ago, and are saddened
 by his passing away.

 Angels Camp
resident passes....

 Jack Alexander Costa (K6TTT) died Wednesday, June 27,
2012, at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto
 after being unable to recover
from a fall. He was 88.

 Mr. Costa was born on Nov. 11, 1923, in Hawaii
and attended Maui High School. He worked for 30
 years as the regional
vice president for an electronics distributing company and was a 23-year

resident of Angels Camp.

 Mr. Costa is survived by his wife, Susan Costa;
daughters, Jan Callender and Cindy Costa; sons
 Mike, Bob and Phil Costa;
his stepsons, Paul, David and Robert Garrett; his sister, Dorothy

Chandless of Oregon; many grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He
was preceded in death
 by his sister, Eleanore Cieira, and his parents.
