[Mldxcc] Joint Meeting

I know everyone is waiting for information on the joint meeting and I wanted to give an update:


I've been working with Stu (k6TU) from NCCC and Jim, (K6JS) from REDXA.  

This should be a fun afternoon, with great food, once we can settle on the location and, therein lies the problem.   Finding a place in the Fairfield area that will accommodate over 80 is next to impossible without going to a hotel and triggering a cost that the three clubs cannot afford.  We do have some options, but none are perfect.  A final conference call should lock in the location and I hope that we can have the call in the next day or two.

Paul, N6PSE, will do a talk on the Yemen dxpedition and this is confirmed.  We also have some other fun things planned, but nothing confirmed at this point.

Please be patient.  Rick, will be posting information in the Nugget and Norm will keep things updated on the website.  I, as well, will send out updates as soon as I have the info.
