Were you one of the guys to work the first ever DXpedition to Desecheo Island in 1979 -- and do you still need a QSL card confirmation?

Well, 33 Years Later ---- you're just one stamp away from getting one.

While working at the NCDXF booth in Dayton last week, David Novoa, W4DN, stopped by.  In March, 1979, David led the first ever DXpedition to Desecheo Island.   At that time, there was no prefix dedicated to Desecheo, so he used his own callsign for the DXpedition:   KP4AM /D

Contacts were made on 40M CW and 10M SSB.  The DXpedition was approved for DXCC credit.  David has all of the original logs from the DXpedition -- so if you need a card, just send him your pertinent QSO information with an SASE, using his QRZ.com address:
