I'm happy to submit first score as a new club member. Great conditions
and the most QSO's I've ever had in a contest but ultimately
bittersweet! For every station I worked I could hear many more right
at my noise level. A modest improvement to my antennas and my score
would've been at least 3x higher. This contest adds more motivation
for me to dump my low dipoles to get some gain and to upgrade my rig.
Unfortunately for personal reasons station improvements are 2 to 3
years away. In the mean time it's lemonade from lemons and I'm looking
forward to CQP and SS, dipoles and all!
