Bay area stations are off the back of 10/15/20/40 antennas.
Worked 3 SF, 6 EB, 11 SCV (a few on 75) and 7 SV, for instance
while working 27 MDC & 42 VA.
Seems 40 & 75 were long early.
Did work KG6OJE (AIR) in SF who was using a Buddi-pole antenna
on the 10th floor of the Golden Gateway Apartments in downtown
SF.
