Comments:
So, I rarely operate in QSO parties, because there are usually only
a handful of stations operating on the other end (= boring). However,
the folks in charge of this event came up with an exciting new concept,
in which a handful of stations with special 1X1 callsigns, mostly operating
mobile, put on a fun and entertaining event. When I noticed the 1X1 callsigns
showing up on the DX reflector and found out what was going on....getting into
the event proved a lot more fun than I would have ever thought. I used to live
in Johnson County, Kansas long ago, so it was nice to chat with folks there a bit.
