Comments:

This one was really disappointing.  40/80/160 were full of noise and the were really short.  10/15/20 was OK but really seemed to be down from last weekend and the weekend of ARRL RTTY RU.

With that said, out of desperation I moved from 40 to 20 well after sunset.  The band sounded dead with practically no signals.  I decided to call CQ and had my best run of the day.  I was probably there for the better part of an hour.  At one point, the rate was around 280.  The interesting thing about this run was all of the stuff coming in was low angle.  I normally use a very low beam on my hill top to receive on 10/15/20 and domestic signals with an antenna only 10 feet off the ground are usually far better than the big beam.  During this run, however, I couldn't hear squat on the low antenna but the signals were very strong on the high antenna.  I need a stack!!!

Can't make any excuses other than to say that I need to get the second tri-band beam up on tower #2 and I need to get the 40 meter wire beam up.  I hope both will be ready for RTTY.

I did very little SO2R.  I use an 80 meter loop on the second radio, with a tuner, and while it worked fine last week, it was full of noise this week.
