This weekend is ARRL DX SSB

This is NOT a major NCCC club event.  If MLDXCC or other club wants to get
into this fray please go for it and have fun. If you don't belong to a club
where they want your score, then use the default: NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
CONTEST CLUB.

Interesting that the TX5K will just be getting on the air as ARRL DX gets
under way. I have a personal interest in this one because I've been
involved with this group during the planning, but decided not to go on this
one myself. Local KBers WA6O, NP4IW, and N6XG are there. KY6R is in contact
and posting his blog about this trip here:

The really interesting aspect of this trip is the return of "DXA" where you
can watch the action in near real time:

Obviously, they are still setting up but I suspect first QSOs will be
tomorrow just ahead of the opening bell of ARRL DX.  Please be aware of
their split operations.
