RADIO DAY BY THE BAY 2013

SBE Chapter 43 is sponsoring a field trip to CHRS on Saturday, July 20, 2013. The event includes live music, vintage radio auction, food, electronic flea market, live radio play by the Broadcast Legends, tours, celebrity interviews, and radio personalities. Admission to the event is $5.

We will travel as a group on Amtrak from Sacramento to Emeryville, and then walk one-half mile to the CHRS building. Our train leaves Sacramento at 9:10 a.m. You must be in the terminal building at 5th and I Street no later than 8:45 a.m. Please allow sufficient time to park in the Amtrak lot and purchase your day parking pass from the ticket machine. Our train leaves Emeryville at 3:35 p.m. and returns to Sacramento at 5:26 p.m.

The round trip train fare must be paid in advance. It is $20 for SBE members and $35 for non-members. Bring a check payable to SBE Chapter 43 to our next meeting at Denny's, or mail it to Dave Sauer, Treasurer, P.O. Box 101, Sacramento, CA 95812.
