Thought I'd say a quick hello to all my buddies back home. Having a great
time here on beautiful Wake Island. Our host, the USAF, has been very
gracious. We're being well treated. Food. Sleeping quarters. Station
locations. The pileups are as expected....huge. I especially love
managing SSB pileups but this DXpedition requires a whole new level of
focus. No chance to daydream. We've made 33,000 QSOs in 4 days with 4
stations running 24 hrs. Over 1100 of those have been on 160M.

I've already put some of your familiar callsigns in the log on SSB --
always a thrill. We'll been starting RTTY this week, and will also set up
a 6M station very soon.

We'll keep operating for another 8 or 9 days, leaving here Saturday,
16-November.

The internet connection is slow and shared but I'll be posting some photos
soon on the wake website and will let you know when.

Until then take care and CU in the pileups!

73,
John, K6MM
