[Mldxcc] CQ Marathon

I checked my log... something is still off. I'm showing 328 slots for
142 DXCC, missing one each on 20, 15 and 12... for 2015.

I'm not in the running for anything, but it merits a look to see what's
going on, including my understanding of these stats.

Either way, I'm thinking some of the numbers might be skewed for folks
like me, because I *only* go for new band slots or ATNO... It could
easily be much different if one were to start fresh completely at zero
each year. The total number of slots tells the same story for K6LE...
compare the total slots vs DXCC, it's easy to see; he's working on DXCC
slots at almost 2:1 (more efficient) vs 3:2 for K6YK at roughly the same
time frame in years... There is some interesting math that could be
gleaned from these numbers... DXCC per slot per is just one.

One of the cards that arrived today from the QSL fairy was Eritrea and
THAT was hard earned... the last day at nearly the last hour, ONE very
lonely QSO and every erg of RF I could generate... thanks for them
listening multiple times to get the contact made... the 599 report was
a wishful dream, but who cares... I got the card.

Bonus! The LOTW for Costa Rica for 160 contest came in today too... now
if the USVI would upload, I'd have 7 confirmed (missing one for Japan
but that was ESP conditions)... all this year, I'd never tried 160 before.
