I suspect a logging (program) problem. Too many are missing Q's, not just in the US either. You're also not the first one to note the wrong band or mode. Something is clearly 'wrong'.
I'm hopeful it's simply a bad compilation of on site logs (seven distinct stations?) to be resolved later.
I don't think it's the ops, they've been outstanding. Even the slow phone op (slight drawl) got things done, just not at a rocket pace (Alabama boy perhaps? That kind of Southern relaxed pace).
So far the only one I'm missing in the online log is for 30M CW. I have four band modes confirmed (3 CW 1 phone). And a week to go; now 15 possible band modes, more to come. I may try to "collect the whole set" :-) but I don't have a good 6M antenna for DXing (a J pole). I'm happy so far but want more, duh.
I tried 160 this evening and they were *just* above ESP (Att off, pre-amp on, she cannah give no more Cap'n). ;-). Because this antenna is so reactive on the bottom of the band, I was only able to run about 350 watts (about half the amp max), just not enough for a low dipole, that far away (though it's worked South Korea on 160). I have another tuner (manual only) that'll handle it, if I need the last few db.
No joy again on 30 RTTY tonight as well. For the higher bands, the N/S oriented dipole becomes too directional (ten full wavelengths on 10 meters), in the wrong direction this time (but it crushes in the south Pac and works great on 40).
20 was a disaster, per normal.
I took a break tonight. That'll probably cost me... I'll dive back in, in the morning. I'd had enough of the lids, jammers and cops (for a lifetime) with folks chatting on the DX frequency for icing...
Not shocked, but appalled. Not surprised, just saddened about the human condition that thinks this is acceptable behavior. Disappointing. I expect worse this weekend. :-(
