[Mldxcc] New Yaesu DR-1X System Fusion Repeater

One of my teammates on Navassa Island was Lou, N2TU -- a  Yaesu marketing representative.  During our down time, he mentioned Yaesu's new DR-1X Repeater system.  This new product is a 50 Watt, Dual Band, Dual mode repeater system with both analog and digital capability on either the VHF (2M) or UHF (70cm) bands.

Lou mentioned that between now and March 31, 2015, Yaesu is running a promotion, offering the DR-1X for a Club price of only $500 USD.

I'm not a repeater buff, but I was intrigued.  I can tell from the reviews, that this is probably a very cool product and a great price.
