K6KM’s Alpha 87A Auto-Tune Power Amplifier s/n 93400575 with optional external fan, and two spare tubes.
This amplifier was tested on all bands at 1500W output with total grid current of less than 30 ma.  The second set of spare tubes was purchased from Alpha in the late 2000’s, but were never used.
As most of you know, this amplifier is capable of outputting well in excess of the legal power.  It’s rated at 1500W output at 100% duty cycle.  The case has a few small scuff marks (no scratches through the paint, just scuffs) on the top of the case.  The front, rear and both side are un-marked. If you wish to test this unit, you can do so at W6SR’s QTH in Placerville.

The 87A is priced at $4000. 
I can deliver to AI6V’s memorial service this Sunday, or this must be picked up in Placerville.
We have the original Alpha (inner) box with foam liner, which is included.   But we do not have the second (outer transportation box) or the transformer box. We do not want to assume liability for shipping damage, so this item is pickup-only .
