[Mldxcc] K6KO and K6TA Butte fire status

Thanks for all the phone calls and e-mails.  We are doing fine and
have been allowed
to stay in our house from the start as we are just outside the burn
area,

Our main issues has been power outage and smoke.  We were on our
propane power generator
for sixty hours when the fire started.  The power lines from the
distribution grid are destroyed.
PG&E has brought in a fleet of semi trailer mounted generators to feed
5K plus customers
until line repairs can be made.

Mandatory evacuation and road closures restrictions in Amador were
lifted yesterday and we were able
to get to the house my father and I started building in 1969 and where
my step mother now
resides.  No visible fire damage but major property loss within a
mile.

Last night was the first that the fire did not advance and stands at
72K acres.
 
There is still major fire fighting and people out of their homes in
Calaveras County.  Keep up 
the thoughts and prayers.
