Maybe Rick will get a SWL card from them. ;>)

No I didn't get him :-( I heard him clearly work N6ZFO.

Now you have a dilemma . . . . . .

The VP8SGI log says that you did work them!

But you did not have a 2-way communication [I can verify that because I heard the whole thing] or did you??

Another contact will be a dupe from their perspective, and they could, I guess, ignore your call, thinking you are a DX'ing lid.

Good luck!

I heard him clearly work N6ZFO. Just before that,
I had a burst of noise for about 5 minutes.
He may have called me during that, or else
the spotlight just didn't stay here long enough.
I was using 1500W to a vertical. It's helpful
to get these reports. Maybe tomorrow...

At 0332Z here in Kelseyville Lake Co I could just hear them . an
occasional partial callsign.
At 0530Z, a few dB stronger; I even called them just a couple times.

At 0648, sunrise, S-5 on peaks on the Eu Beverage.

Amazingly, I worked VP8SGI at 0652 with 150 w to my inverted L.
(Rick, he called N6RK three times. . apparently w/ no answer. . hope
you got him!).

An amusing story: Looking back in my log, found my QSO with VP8ORK on
160m on Feb 3, 2011 at 0650. . 5 years ago to the minute!!!).

My logging program shows South Georgia sunrise at just before 0700Z.
Are you saying SR is actually around 0500Z, or that peaking is 2
hours before SR? In any event, I am hearing nothing here on 1826.5
as of 0415Z. They aren't very strong on 80 meters, although I can
    hear them.

Just above ESP here, take a listen. It bodes well for the peak
        time for
us, in about an hour. Lots of folks calling too.
