In the mid 90's using a Ten-Tec Omni V and a 5-watt transverter to a home
brew 5 el Yagi I worked 40+ states in just casual operation, all on SSB,
all Es; close to 100 grid squares.
Now there's much more cw on 6m. I have worked Japan frequently with 100
watts and a 5 el M^2 Yagi. It's a fun band.
In collaboration with N0KQ we're in the midst of a a major station and
antenna upgrade at n6zfo. The upgrade includes a high end 6m beam; maybe
we'll work AD6E/KH6TU.
Also good meteor bounce on 6m.
