[Mldxcc] MLDXCC - A few comments from today's meeting

Today's meeting at Casa Ramos in Placerville was well attended and 
lively. Lunch was delicious.

There is a new Facebook page for the club. It's not a discussion group 
page like you may be familiar with, more of an information page to keep 
an eye on for current events or notes of interest to the club. We hope 
to draw more members and this is one way to get the word out. It can be 
found at https://www.facebook.com/MLDXCC

When I got home from the meeting I had a package in the mailbox. We 
received the gavel for winning the 2015 ARRL SS Medium Club. There is a 
photo on the Facebook page, and it will also be in the newsletter and 
club website.

We have a new slate of officers with MANY changes. I'd like to thank all 
of you who stepped up to take on a new role in the club.
